According to the county on May 19, the items that received re-certification this time are: liquid tea, solid tea, processed fruit and vegetable products, ginseng beverages, red ginseng beverages, and other processed products. The certification is valid until August 2028.

HACCP is a hygiene management system that analyzes potential hazards in advance and manages them intensively throughout all stages from the production of raw food materials to manufacturing, processing, preservation, cooking, and distribution, in order to provide only safe food to consumers. The certification is overseen by the Korea Agency of HACCP Accreditation and Services.

The Jinan County Agricultural Products Comprehensive Processing Center first obtained HACCP certification in 2016 and has continuously maintained it by passing regular inspections every three years.

Hazard analysis and the establishment of critical control points are thoroughly applied to all production processes, ensuring that hygiene and quality management are carried out simultaneously.

No Geumseon, Director of the Jinan County Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "We are continuously disseminating processing technology and providing education to increase the added value of local agricultural products and to contribute to improving farmers' incomes," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create a safe processing environment centered on local farms and to strengthen their capabilities."

Meanwhile, the Jinan County Agricultural Products Comprehensive Processing Center can be used by any local farmer who completes the required procedures. Farmers wishing to use the center can contact the Rural Support Division of the Jinan County Agricultural Technology Center or the Agricultural Products Comprehensive Processing Center directly.
