Hana Financial Group announced on May 19 that it had carried out a volunteer activity called 'Cultural Experience for Children from Vulnerable Groups' in celebration of Family Month in May.

This volunteer event invited around 80 children from local children's centers and their guardians, and included activities such as a Changgyeonggung cultural experience outing accompanied by a historical commentary, as well as a viewing of the children's economic musical "Jack's Magic Wallet."

The Changgyeonggung cultural experience outing began with explanations from a professional history commentator. With a fun and easy approach tailored to the children's level, the participants were able to directly experience and learn about Korea's precious cultural heritage?something they had previously only seen in books?gaining valuable insights into tradition and culture.

Following this, the children's economic musical "Jack's Magic Wallet," held at the Hana Financial Group auditorium, was met with an enthusiastic response from both the children and their guardians. "Jack's Magic Wallet" is a musical-style financial education program that Hana Bank has continued for 18 years since 2007. Inspired by the well-known fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk," the program is designed to help children develop healthy financial habits such as saving, spending, and sharing.

One child who participated in the program shared, "It was like a gift of a day?I was able to go on an outing to a palace that is close by but I don't often visit, and also enjoy an entertaining musical performance. If I have the chance next time, I would like to come again with my family and even more friends."

Hana Financial Group continues to practice ESG management through a variety of ongoing social contribution activities for children from vulnerable groups, including providing school supplies for the new semester, operating children's financial education classes, and offering children's economic musicals, so that children in need of support in our society can find happiness.
