Open for One Month at the Main Branch Until June 12
Popup Space Focused on Disney Collaboration Products
On May 19, Shinsegae International announced that it has opened a popup store for the French fashion brand Coperni on the 3rd floor of the new building at the Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch.
Coperni is a French fashion brand founded in 2013 by designers Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant. The name is derived from the astronomer Copernicus, who advocated the heliocentric theory. Coperni has built a unique brand identity by presenting creative and future-oriented designs. At the 2023 Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week, Coperni drew attention with a performance in which model Bella Hadid appeared in underwear and had a dress created on her body by spraying liquid fiber, completing the look live on stage.

One of Coperni’s signature products is the "Swipe Bag," inspired by the iPhone unlock button. With its unique yet sophisticated design, the Swipe Bag is released each season in various sizes and materials and has become a representative item of the brand.
This popup store was organized to commemorate the launch of the global collection in collaboration with Disney in Korea. It will operate for about a month, until June 12. At the popup store, customers can find Coperni’s key products for the 2025 Spring/Summer season, including items from the Disney collaboration.
The Coperni popup store features Disney collaboration products as its main attraction. Visitors can see items such as bags and shoes inspired by Mickey Mouse’s ears, as well as hoodies inspired by the horns of the villain character Maleficent, showcasing creative designs that cleverly incorporate Disney characters.
The store space maximizes the brand’s imagination with displays that reflect the collaboration concept. At the center, a large blue ribbon sculpture, which reinterprets Disney princesses in a modern way, allows visitors to experience Coperni’s distinctive sensibility and worldview in a three-dimensional manner.
In addition, key seasonal products are also on display, including stretch dresses with floral decorations and cut-out details, ruffle ribbon shorts, asymmetrical tailored skirts, and floral swimsuits. Starting May 30, these items will also be available for purchase on Shinsegae International’s own digital platform, S.I. Village.
To celebrate the opening of the popup store, Shinsegae International is offering a 10% discount to customers who spend over 1 million won at the store until May 22.
A representative from Shinsegae International stated, “This popup store is a special opportunity to experience the sensuous global collaboration collection of Disney and Coperni in Korea,” adding, “During the operation period, we plan to effectively showcase the brand’s appeal through a variety of promotions and content.”
