On May 19, Research Alarm analyzed that Sukgyung AT is a key materials company essential for responding to abnormal climate conditions. The firm set a target price of 66,900 won.
Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at Research Alarm, explained, "Sukgyung AT is a core materials company based on nanotechnology, and recently, it has been recognized for its global growth potential in the climate tech sector as well."
He added, "With regard to Solar Radiation Management (SRM) technology, which is attracting attention as part of geoengineering, Sukgyung AT is a supply partner for silica nano-materials used in aerosol fine particles that are dispersed into the stratosphere."
He further emphasized, "SRM is a technology that aims to lower surface temperatures by dispersing highly reflective fine particles in the stratosphere to block solar radiation. It is being highlighted as a next-generation technology to address climate change."
Researcher Choi analyzed, "Sukgyung AT's SRM-related partner, a US-Israel joint climate tech startup referred to as Company S, has already confirmed the applicability of nano-materials through indoor demonstration tests. Currently, outdoor demonstration tests are underway in four regions in Europe, including France." He also explained, "If global commercialization accelerates, demand for Sukgyung AT's high-purity nano-silica is expected to increase. Last year, the company generated approximately 30 million won in revenue from sample supplies, and this year's revenue is expected to be around 130 million won."
