Approximately 150 people will attend the event, including Mayor Kim Dukyum, City Council Chair Lee Seongryong, members of the Ulsan Youth Policy Coordination Committee, and members of the Nam-gu Youth Policy Council.

The completion ceremony will proceed in the following order: progress report, plaque unveiling, and facility tour.

The Youth Hope Housing construction project is a public housing initiative aimed at ensuring residential stability for economically vulnerable young people. The city is investing 48 billion won to supply 224 public housing units at eight locations, including Sinjeong-dong.

In particular, the 'Sinjeong-dong Youth Hope Housing' is the second project following the 'Seongan-dong Youth Hope Housing,' and is part of Ulsan's efforts to make imagination a reality and build a city where young people want to stay.

This Youth Hope Housing has been built in Sinjeong-dong, Nam-gu, with one basement floor and five above-ground floors, a total floor area of 1,976 square meters, and provides 38 units in total.

The total project cost was over 7.7 billion won. Construction began in February last year and was completed on this day. In January this year, applications for residents were accepted, and the successful applicants were announced on May 9. Move-in is scheduled for this month.

Each unit is equipped with specialized items such as a refrigerator, washing machine, electric induction stove, sink, and built-in wardrobe.

For shared spaces, the second floor features a shared office and a seasonal storage room for storing out-of-season items, while the third floor offers a shared living room and kitchen where young residents can freely communicate and share information.

Mayor Kim Dukyum stated, "For Ulsan to become a youthful city again, young people must be able to study and work freely, pursuing their dreams without worrying about housing. By March next year, we plan to supply 150 Youth Hope Housing units at six locations, including Samsan-dong. We will provide an opportunity for young people to take a further leap forward, enabling them to settle in the region and focus on economic activities based on residential stability."

Ulsan City is also reviewing the implementation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's public housing competition project in the first half of this year. The plan involves investing a total of 83.3 billion won to supply public housing at five locations, including Onsan-eup, Ulju-gun, tailored to the needs of young people, small and medium-sized business workers, newlyweds, and elderly people without homes, in order to improve residential welfare.

Additionally, to provide more young people with homes quickly, the city plans to implement a new purchase agreement-type public housing project, investing approximately 15 billion won to supply a total of 120 units.
