"Three Decisions Must Be Made Before the Candidate Debate on the 18th"
Former People Power Party leader Han Donghoon on the 17th once again urged Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party presidential candidate, to sever ties with former President Yoon Sukyeol and his wife, and to reverse his stance of opposing impeachment.
This is interpreted as meaning that former President Yoon’s announcement of his voluntary departure from the party earlier that day is not sufficient.

On the morning of the same day, Han wrote on his social networking service (SNS) Facebook, "For our party's victory, I am convinced that at a minimum, '(1) opposition to martial law (the party already apologized for martial law at the end of December last year, so now the key is for the party to reverse its stance on opposing impeachment due to martial law), (2) severing ties between former President Yoon Sukyeol and his wife and the party, and (3) drawing a clear line against extremist groups such as Jatongdang' are essential. Without these three, we cannot win."
Han continued, "That is why I requested that Kim Moonsoo make a decision and accept these three conditions by May 18, when the presidential candidate debate will take place. However, whether to make this decision and accept these three conditions is up to Kim Moonsoo. I once again urge Kim to make this decision."
Earlier, former President Yoon announced his intention to leave the People Power Party through a post on Facebook, stating, "Today, I am leaving the People Power Party," and called on people to "rally around Kim Moonsoo."
Han’s post appears to indicate that Yoon’s departure alone does not satisfy all three of his demands, and that an additional decision from Kim is necessary.
However, Han added, "As I have already said, regardless of whether these three tasks are accepted, I am actively doing what I must for our party, and I will continue to do so," adding, "Next week, I will meet with the public in the field."
