Superton Unveils AI Dubbing and Singing Technology
at AWS Summit Seoul
Superton, an artificial intelligence (AI) audio company, announced on the 16th that it showcased AI-powered dubbing, singing, and even venue announcements at the "Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit Seoul," the largest cloud technology conference in Korea, held on May 14-15 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
At this event, Superton introduced its AI dubbing technology for the first time. This technology enables dubbing in another language while reflecting the unique characteristics of the original speaker's voice. It was utilized during the keynote speeches on May 15 by Werner Vogels, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Amazon, and Deepak Singh, Vice President of Next Generation Developer Experience at AWS. The technology created the impression that both speakers were fluent in Korean.
On the 14th, before the keynote speech at the "Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit Seoul" held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, a female vocalist is singing together with a male artificial intelligence (AI) voice. AWS
During the "Ctrl+U" stage, which took place before the keynote speech on the first day of the event, Superton's singing synthesis technology drew significant attention. In the first verse, a male AI voice created by Superton participated as a chorus, and in the second verse, the vocalist and the AI voice naturally exchanged lines while singing.
Superton's technology was also applied to the venue's announcement broadcasts during the event. Out of the more than 200 voices provided by Superton, the voices of "Eddie" and "Suho," which are suitable for announcements, were used for messages such as entrance and exit guidance, session announcements, and speaker introductions.
On June 14-15, visitors at the Superton booth set up at the "Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit Seoul" held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, are listening to explanations about Superton's artificial intelligence (AI) voice technology. Superton
The Superton booth, where visitors could experience the company's technology firsthand, also attracted many attendees. At the booth, people could try out the AI voice response service "Character Chat" and "My Own Golf Coach," where an AI voice provides golf coaching.
Lee Kyogu, CEO of Superton, said, "At this event, we were able to demonstrate that Superton's various new technologies can be widely applied in real life," adding, "We will continue to lead the popularization of AI voice technology in the future."
