Remodeling Completion Ceremony Held on the 16th
"Strengthening Disaster Response Capabilities"

Ulju County in Ulsan has completed the remodeling of its Disaster Safety Situation Room and Integrated CCTV Control Center, which are responsible for safeguarding the lives and safety of county residents, and has officially begun full-scale operations.

On this day, Ulju County held a completion ceremony for the remodeled Disaster Safety Situation Room and Integrated CCTV Control Center, located on the first floor of the county office. The county explained that it has significantly strengthened its disaster response capabilities by establishing an advanced control system based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology).

A total budget of 3,036,000,000 KRW was invested in this remodeling project.

The existing Ulju Cultural Exhibition Hall (312㎡) and the Disaster Safety Situation Room (531㎡) were integrated, greatly expanding the space to a total of 843㎡. Related facilities that were previously operated separately?such as the Integrated CCTV Control Center, Drone Control Center, and Video Conference Room?were also consolidated into a single operation to improve efficiency.

In particular, a video monitoring system was established to enable integrated management of various channels, including disaster, crime prevention, drone, and wildfire control, and a 24-hour real-time response system was put in place. With enhanced front monitor and multi-vision functions, it is now possible to quickly assess on-site situations and transmit real-time video footage.

Governor Lee Sungul stated, "This remodeling goes beyond simple facility improvements; it is highly meaningful in securing the golden time during disasters and protecting the lives and property of our residents. We will continue to build a faster and more systematic disaster response system in the future," he said.
