Seo Minsun, Former Gender Equality Specialist at Seongnam City Hall, Appointed as Director of the Women's Resources Development Institute
Begins Overseeing Job Creation and Career Development for Seoul Women from May 12

Seo Minsun, the newly appointed Director of the Seoul Women's Resources Development Institute, officially took office and began her duties on May 12, 2025.

Director Seo holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and is a women's policy expert who has previously served as Gender Equality Specialist at Seongnam City Hall, Gender Specialist at Dobong District Office, and Co-Representative of the Korea Gender-Responsive Budgeting Network.

In addition, she has worked for many years as a gender impact assessment consultant for the Seoul Foundation of Women and Family and as an expert instructor at the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, listening closely to the needs of women’s policy in the field.

Going forward, Director Seo will lead the overall operations related to women's job creation and career development at the Seoul Women's Resources Development Institute, in collaboration with five Women's Development Centers and eighteen Women's Resources Development Centers in Seoul.

Seo Minsun stated, "I will actively promote how much our field institutions are striving for women's employment in Seoul, and I will work to create synergy by communicating and cooperating with these institutions."

The Seoul Women's Resources Development Institute was established to support women's capacity building and expand their participation in society. It plays a comprehensive role in evaluating, coordinating, and supporting the Seoul Women's Development Centers and Women's Resources Development Centers, and implements Seoul's women's employment policies.
