Native-Speaking Instructors Lead Classes, Reducing the Burden of Private Education Costs
Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on May 16 that it is accepting applications for new students for the summer semester at the Gijang Base English Center until May 20.
The Gijang Base English Center is Gijang County's flagship English education program, offering 100% practical English conversation classes taught by professional native-speaking instructors five days a week. The program has received high satisfaction ratings due to its excellent teaching staff and affordable tuition fees (40,000 KRW per month for students, 45,000 KRW per month for adults), and it continues to be well received by local residents and parents.
This summer semester will run from June 4 to August 29 at five locations: Gijang Education Happiness Town, Gijang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Jeongganeup Education Happiness Center, Wollae Welfare Center, and Ilgwang Base English Center. Sixteen native-speaking instructors will be assigned to these locations.
New students are required to take a level test before classes begin. Applications for the level test will be accepted until May 20.
Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang County, stated, "The Gijang Base English Center is establishing itself as a hub for practical English learning and cultural experiences for county residents," and added, "We will continue to enhance Gijang County's English education environment through solid program management."
