Han Donghoon, former leader of the People Power Party, stated that in order to secure victory in the presidential election, Kim Moonsoo must make a decisive move before the presidential candidate debate on May 18. He emphasized that while personal loyalty is important, severing ties with former President Yoon Sukyeol and his spouse must come first for the sake of victory.

On the 16th, Han Donghoon wrote on his Facebook page, "In order to turn the situation around, three decisive actions are needed 'before the presidential candidate debate on May 18.'"

Han stated, "The party already issued an apology regarding the martial law at the end of December, so now the key is for the party to reverse its stance on opposing impeachment due to martial law." He added, "At the same time, it is essential for the party to sever ties with former President Yoon Sukyeol and his spouse."

He continued, "When it comes to drawing a line against extreme groups such as the Jatongdang (Liberty Unification Party), prioritizing personal loyalty over public duty is not the attitude of someone working in the public interest." He added, "Above all, it is a shortcut to handing over the Republic of Korea to the dangerous and incompetent Lee Jaemyung."

He went on to say, "Kim Moonsoo must make a decision before the presidential candidate debate on May 18." He added, "It is not too late yet, but after that, it will be too late." He advised, "I offer this candid advice to prevent the collapse of the conservative camp. Even if Kim does not make a decision, I will fight with all my strength against Lee Jaemyung and the Democratic Party, but if you do not decide, we cannot win."
