Madam Aits Donates Women's Clothing Worth 103 Million Won to Seogu, Gwangju

Donation of Over 2,400 Women's Clothing Items
from Kim Changsuk Boutique to Support Women with Disabilities in Seogu

On May 16, Seogu in Gwangju received a donation of over 2,400 women's clothing items worth approximately 103 million won from Madam Aits Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Heegi), a company well known for the brand 'Kim Changsuk Boutique.'

According to the district, the donation ceremony was held that day at the Seogu Welfare Center for the Disabled. The event was attended by Choi Sungyeol, Executive Director of Madam Aits Co., Ltd., Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, and officials from Seogu.


The donated clothing will be delivered to women with disabilities in the district through the Seogu Welfare Center for the Disabled, the Gwangju Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired, and the Seogu Association of the Deaf in Gwangju.


Choi Sungyeol, Executive Director, stated, "Kim Changsuk Boutique is a clothing brand that, for 50 years, has captured people's lives, dreams, and beauty in every collar and every stitch," and added, "We decided to make this donation because we empathize with the values of 'Seogu, a Good City for People.'"


Song Kyungae, Head of the Welfare Policy Division, said, "The warm hearts of the Kim Changsuk Boutique family will bring great comfort, hope, and inspiration to the residents of Seogu," and continued, "We will make even greater efforts to realize a local community where positive influence is part of everyday life and sharing and consideration thrive, fulfilling the vision of 'Seogu, a Good City for People.'"
