'HUG Safe Landlord' Badge Now Available on Npay Real Estate Listings
Multiplex and Multi-family Housing Listings First...
Apartment and Officetel Certification to Expand in Second Half of Year
Naver Pay (Npay) announced on May 16 that it has launched the 'HUG Safe Landlord' real estate listing information service in partnership with the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG).
Through this service, Npay aims to help tenants sign lease agreements with greater peace of mind.
This service provides a 'HUG Safe Landlord' badge for listings on Npay Real Estate, allowing users searching for properties to identify listings from landlords certified by HUG.
HUG Safe Landlord refers to landlords who have been certified within the past month through the 'HUG Safe Jeonse App,' which was launched by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and HUG to reduce victims of jeonse fraud.
The service provides transparent information so that both tenants and landlords can conduct lease transactions with confidence before signing contracts.
The HUG Safe Landlord badge certification will begin with listings for multiplex and multi-family housing on Npay Real Estate.
In the second half of the year, the service will expand to include apartment and officetel listings.
Landlords can also increase trust in their listings by actively displaying the HUG Safe Landlord badge on Npay Real Estate.
After receiving Safe Landlord certification through the HUG Safe Jeonse App, landlords can request promotion of their certified listings to real estate agents affiliated with information providers partnered with Npay Real Estate.
Kangjin Ko, leader of the Npay Real Estate service, said, "We have launched this service in cooperation with HUG so that tenants and landlords can conduct transactions with greater confidence," adding, "We will continue to strive to create a more trusted service."
