"Strengthening Market Penetration, Supporting Local Clients' Exports"
Cosmax, a cosmetics original development manufacturing (ODM) company, announced on the 16th that its Sun Mesh Cushion received significant attention from participants at the '2025 Shanghai China Beauty Expo.' Cosmax plans to strengthen its business operations in the Chinese market based on its robust technological capabilities.
Cosmax China, the company's Chinese subsidiary, participated in the beauty expo held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from May 12 to May 14.
This year marks the 29th edition of the China Beauty Expo, which is the largest beauty and cosmetics exhibition in Asia. Last year's event attracted more than 400,000 visitors from over 80 countries worldwide, and over 3,200 global companies and more than 10,000 brands took part.
Cosmax presented products under the Chinese market theme, including: ▲ sun care technology ▲ formulations that maximize visual effects in response to the rise of live broadcasting ▲ formulations that incorporate beauty device technology and support pre- and post-procedure skin care. The company also showcased 'White Plusome,' a whitening functional ingredient, as well as patented ingredients related to PDRN and collagen, which have recently gained popularity in the Chinese market. Additionally, Cosmax introduced its proprietary skincare delivery systems that safely and efficiently deliver active ingredients deep into the skin.
The product that received the most enthusiastic response was the 'Sun Mesh Cushion.' Recently in China, demand for sun protection products has been rising, and more consumers are seeking products that adhere lightly to the skin while offering enhanced coverage.
The separately organized 'Global Zone' featured popular products from Cosmax's overseas subsidiaries in countries such as Korea, the United States, Indonesia, and Thailand, highlighting the company's competitive global network established in over 10 countries. In the 'Color Variation' zone, Cosmax exhibited around 200 types of foundation and about 300 lip color spectrums, demonstrating its diverse color-matching technologies aimed at targeting the global market.
Cosmax plans to further expand its presence in the Chinese market by developing locally customized formulations and leveraging its proprietary research capabilities. The company also intends to actively support local Chinese clients in their overseas expansion efforts. Lee Sangin, General Manager of Cosmax China, stated, "Cosmax has established itself as a leading cosmetics ODM company in the Chinese market, based on its core research and development competitiveness and more than 20 years of accumulated local expertise. We will continue to diversify our client portfolio in the Chinese market and strengthen our sustainable competitiveness by building a solid collaborative system with each subsidiary."
