Gyeongbuk Provincial Policy for Local Era Division Donates 2 Million Won Outstanding Department Prize to Cheongsong County for Wildfire Relief Fund

The Gyeongbuk Provincial Policy for Local Era Division was selected as an outstanding department at the '2024 Performance Department Evaluation Awards Ceremony' and donated the entire prize money of 2 million won as a relief fund to help overcome wildfire damage, delivering it to the Cheongsong County Office on the 16th.

The division was selected as an outstanding department based on its major achievements in the 2024 department evaluation, including the designation of the largest Opportunity Development Zone in the country (four regions, 1.52 million pyeong), and the establishment of the K-U City, a collaborative model linking local governments, universities, and businesses.

All staff members of the division decided to donate the prize money as a small but meaningful contribution, hoping it would help with wildfire recovery efforts and the restoration of daily life for local residents.
