The police have launched a preliminary investigation into a man who allegedly interfered with the election campaign of Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On May 15, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul announced that they are conducting a preliminary investigation into an individual identified as A for obstructing Lee Jaemyung's campaign activities in the area around Suyu Station in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.
It is reported that on May 10, A interfered with Lee Jaemyung's campaign activities and assaulted a campaign worker in the vicinity of Suyu Station.
A police official stated, "We are currently verifying the specific facts of the case."
