Customized Advanced Training Reflecting Staff Needs
On May 15, Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province conducted 'Practical Training for Private Consignment' for 45 employees at grade 6 or below.
This was the first time the city held practical training for private consignment, aimed at the efficient management of public facilities or administrative affairs entrusted to organizations, institutions, or individuals. Following last month's practical training on local subsidies, this customized advanced training was designed to address common educational needs across all departments.
The training focused on strengthening the private consignment management capabilities of staff members, covering practical topics such as understanding private consignment regulations, methods of executing private consignment budgets, and settlement and return procedures for private consignment. In particular, employees showed great interest and enthusiasm in the areas of lawful selection of trustees and management of entrusted facilities. During the Q&A session, they shared knowledge and discussed questions that had arisen in their daily work.
Additionally, an academic achievement assessment was applied to this training to increase learning concentration and to identify employees with innovation growth potential, with plans to utilize the results as personnel data.
Hong Soonyeong, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, stated, "Our goal is to enable the public and private sectors to cooperate and provide high-quality public services to citizens," and added, "We will continue to strengthen the competencies of our staff by operating practical, work-oriented training that can be immediately applied in the field."
