On the occasion of the 44th Teachers' Day, a variety of heartfelt appreciation events, voluntarily organized by students, took place at schools across Ulsan, spreading warmth throughout the community.
Hakseong High School in Nam-gu, Ulsan, organized reading events to foster bonds between teachers and students, such as the "Teacher-Student 15-Minute Reading Together" and "Book Delivery of Love." Students and teachers read books together in the library and exchanged thank-you postcards. Participants were given carnation-scented air fresheners as gifts.
At Hakseong Middle School, also in Nam-gu, the student council created and presented "customized certificates" to all teachers, reflecting each teacher's personality and characteristics. Certificates with witty phrases like "Smile Award" and "Future King Award" filled the event with laughter and touching moments.

Taehwa Middle School in Nam-gu expressed gratitude to teachers through events organized by the art club, including a morning concert, free hugs, and a flower pinning ceremony. Students and teachers took photos together, and there was also an event where students acted as "one-day baristas" and served beverages.
Daeheon Middle School in Nam-gu held a gratitude exhibition using the metaverse. Students created thank-you messages for teachers in the form of digital images, which were displayed in the metaverse, enabling communication that transcended the limitations of time and space.
At Pyeongsan Elementary School in Jung-gu, students held a "Thank You Day," delivering handwritten letters and bouquets to teachers and staff to express their appreciation. Students also sang the Teachers' Day song together and voluntarily put up a banner with thank-you messages they had created themselves.
Muryong Middle School in Jung-gu welcomed teachers on their way to school with a red carpet, carnation headbands, and thank-you placards. The event featured performances by the band and percussion clubs, as well as the reading of letters over the school broadcast, creating a deeply moving experience for teachers.
At Hwabong Elementary School in Buk-gu, a board game class was held thanks to talent donations from the parents' association. This time spent together by parents, teachers, and students served as an opportunity to reflect on the importance of communication and cooperation within the educational community.
Students at Hyojeong High School in Buk-gu held an emotional concert using electronic instruments they had made themselves and presented handmade carnations to teachers as a sincere gesture of gratitude. Both the instruments and the flowers were carefully crafted by the students.
The Hanullim Choir at Seobu Elementary School in Dong-gu expressed their appreciation through a musical performance featuring students from diverse backgrounds. A coffee truck event was also held, spreading a warm atmosphere throughout the school.
Munhyeon Elementary School in Dong-gu organized "Quiet Inspiration, Wristlet Day," providing teachers with a healing experience. The event included aroma diffusers, compliment messages, and handmade postcards, helping teachers recover and recharge.
Onnam Elementary School in Ulju-gun held an event to deliver thank-you letters and handmade carnations to all staff and related local organizations. Students expressed their respect and gratitude to everyone who supports the school, sharing their warm hearts.
An official from the Ulsan Office of Education said, "This year's Teachers' Day was a meaningful occasion, highlighted by students' creative and voluntary participation. We hope these experiences will lead to a greater sense of community and the practice of gratitude."
