The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 15th that it will dispatch a congratulatory delegation led by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yoo Inchon to attend the inauguration ceremony of Pope Leo XIV, which will be held at St. Peter's Square in the Vatican on the 18th (local time).
Oh Hyunju, Ambassador to the Holy See, will be included as a member of the delegation.
Previously, at the end of last month, Minister Yoo visited the Vatican as the head of the condolence delegation for the late Pope Francis.
