Namseoul University Innovation Support Project Group Holds 3rd Ji·San·Hak·Yeon Forum

The University Innovation Support Project Group at Namseoul University (President Yoon Seungyong) held the 3rd Ji·San·Hak·Yeon Forum at Ramada Hotel (Cheonan) on May 14.


The theme of this forum was "Measures to Improve Employment and Settlement Conditions for Local Talent." Participants discussed the roles that industries and local universities should play to make Chungnam a region where young people want to stay. The forum consisted of a keynote speech, thematic presentations, and a discussion session. After the forum, there was also an opportunity for communication between industry executives and university officials.


Choi Jaeyong, a special professor at Namseoul University, delivered the keynote speech titled "Creating Chungnam Where Young People Stay and Grow Together." Thematic presentations were given by Yang Jeongbin, Director of the Career and Start-up Support Center at Namseoul University, and Seok Jinhong, a researcher at the Chungnam Human Resources Development Committee of the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency. The discussion was chaired by Lee Juyeol, a professor at Namseoul University, with Shim Jinsu, President of the Chungnam HR Eoullim Association; Bae Secheol, President of the Chungnam Export Companies Association; and Kim Yubin, Vice President of the Chungnam Green Startup Town Resident Companies Council, participating as panelists.


An official stated, "At this forum, we discussed ways to improve job opportunities and living conditions so that talent nurtured by local universities can settle in the region. While Cheonan and Asan, which are adjacent to the Seoul metropolitan area, offer excellent settlement and job conditions, it was confirmed that improving settlement conditions for local talent is a very important task for the entire Chungnam region."
