Youngjin Cyber University Donates 6 Million KRW for Wildfire Relief On the 14th, the Social Service Group of Youngjin Cyber University visited the Daegu Community Chest of Korea to deliver donations for neighbors affected by the wildfire and took commemorative photos with the officials.

This donation was raised through a joint fundraising campaign organized over two weeks last month by the Social Service Group, the Student Council, and the Alumni Association. The campaign aimed to help wildfire victims restore their daily lives and stabilize their livelihoods.

Jang Kyungho, President of the Student Council, and Kim Jongjin, President of the Alumni Association (Department of Social Welfare), who attended the donation ceremony, said, "After learning about the wildfire damage in Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, we discussed ways to come together and decided to launch this campaign. Although it is a small gesture, we hope it brings comfort and hope."

President Cho Bangje commented, "I extend my deepest condolences to the residents who lost their homes due to the unexpected wildfire. I also sincerely thank the faculty, current students, and alumni who contributed to this effort."

Youngjin Cyber University plans to continue its support for the affected areas, not only through this donation but also by organizing ongoing volunteer activities in the future.

Meanwhile, under its vision as a 'Reemployment Academy,' Youngjin Cyber University is currently pursuing a new leap forward and will be recruiting 2,353 new and transfer students (including those outside the regular quota) for the second semester of the 2025 academic year from June 1 to August 13. The bachelor's degree advanced program in the Department of Social Welfare will also be accepting 29 students during the same period.
