Gwangsan District in Gwangju Operates 'YaNolja School' for Youths with Migrant Backgrounds

Gwangsan District in Gwangju is operating the integrated cultural education program 'Ya(hoeseo)Nolja School,' where youths with migrant backgrounds and Korean youths come together and grow through interaction.

On May 15, Gwangsan District announced that this program has been prepared as part of the 2025 mutual growth education for youths with migrant backgrounds, to help young people from diverse cultural backgrounds understand and interact with one another.

'YaNolja School' will be held at the Yahocenter, the Youth Culture House in Wolgok-dong, from May 24 to October 11. The main programs include 'All About Dance,' which expresses emotions through dance; 'Neighbor's World Cuisine Class,' where participants cook Vietnamese and Uzbek dishes together; and 'Youth Work-Up,' which offers experiences in model walking and fashion.

Any elementary, middle, or high school student can participate, and each program is limited to 10 to 15 participants. All materials needed for activities will be provided free of charge.
