The ongoing donation activities by the staff and executives of these Nonghyup branches are promoting co-prosperity among Nonghyup organizations within South Gyeongsang Province and are having a positive impact on the local community.

This mutual donation is the result of three consecutive years of collaboration since 2023. Yangsan Nonghyup and Hadong Geumo Nonghyup have maintained continuous exchanges and cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector, since establishing a sisterhood relationship in 1997.

Yangsan City evaluated that these donations play a significant role in building a sense of community and trust. The fact that the funds were voluntarily raised by the staff and executives, rather than through large-scale donations, makes this mutual donation even more meaningful.

This has established itself as a model of cooperative partnership among Nonghyup branches, providing practical support for the Hometown Love Donation Program and serving as a driving force for promoting economic exchanges between regions.

Oh Youngsun, head of the Tax Collection Division, stated, "This mutual donation has left a significant mark not only in terms of cooperation among Nonghyup branches but also in strengthening the bonds within the local community. We hope to continue this positive influence through ongoing cooperation in the future." He added, "Yangsan City hopes to see this culture of giving spread even further and plans to seek various support measures to promote co-prosperity between regions."

The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments outside their place of residence. Donors receive tax deductions as well as various gifts (within 30% of the donation amount) provided by the recipient local governments, which is also having a positive impact on revitalizing the local economy.
