Multi-Million Won Funding Projects Emerge
Wadiz announced on May 15 that its recently launched 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) Note' project surpassed 300 million won in funding just one day after its launch on the platform.
The 'iFLYTEK AI Note' introduced by Wadiz is an e-ink display device that offers voice recognition in 15 languages, handwriting and text recognition in 83 languages, and real-time translation in 10 languages. Prior to the launch, the project attracted over 6,000 pre-notification subscribers.

According to Wadiz, a culture in which handwriting itself is considered 'hip' is spreading, especially among Generation Z. From January to May 10 of this year, projects containing keywords such as 'handwriting', 'fountain pen', and 'calligraphy' saw a 211% increase in total funding amount and a 140% increase in the number of funding transactions. There have also been billion-won projects, such as the handwriting class by artist Mikkochche, which surpassed 400 million won in funding in just four days.
A Wadiz representative stated, "Customers who view the act of handwriting itself as a harmless way to heal are actively responding to related funding projects."
