Supporting Healthy Eating Habits Amid Busy Daily Life
Continuous Package Supply Until Year-End
On May 15, the Changwon Special City Agricultural Technology Center in Gyeongnam began the first delivery of the "Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Package Support Project for Pregnant Women," an initiative aimed at expanding the consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products and promoting the health of future generations.
Choi Myunghan, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, visited the Gyeongnam Eco-Friendly Cooperative Association, the package supplier located in Dong-eup, Uichang-gu, to inspect the packaging process. He emphasized the importance of strict hygiene management to the supplier to ensure that safe and fresh agricultural products are provided to pregnant women.
Previously, on April 18, the city selected 1,500 project recipients through a lottery. Starting with the delivery to 680 first-round orderers on this day, the city plans to provide eco-friendly agricultural product packages to pregnant women until December.
The package consists of eco-friendly certified agricultural and livestock products, as well as processed foods. It can be purchased up to four times per month through a dedicated online mall.
Choi Myunghan, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "It is important to choose eco-friendly products and practice healthy eating habits for a sustainable future." He added, "I hope this project will help improve the perception of eco-friendly agricultural products, encourage consumption, and contribute to spreading a value-driven consumption culture for future generations."
