Point Mobile is actively pursuing an aggressive marketing strategy, including participation in international exhibitions and hosting regional partner events, as it embarks on a full-scale effort to expand into the global market.
On May 15, Point Mobile announced that it will host the 'Global Partner Conference 2025,' inviting more than 60 partners from over 40 countries around the world. The conference will be held from May 12 to May 16 in China, Hong Kong, and Macau.
Through the Global Partner Conference, the company aims to strengthen its existing enterprise mobile computer business and enhance its marketing capabilities by introducing new products. At this conference, Point Mobile will showcase the TR54, an industrial tablet PC specialized for business use; a mobile POS (mPOS) targeting the global retail market; and a smart POS terminal.
The TR54, which was first unveiled at the world's largest mobile communications exhibition, MWC, in February, will be the focus of intensified marketing efforts toward partner companies during this event. In addition, by introducing new mPOS and smart POS products, the company plans to foster collaboration for entry into new business areas.
At this conference, Point Mobile will also announce its strategy for developing dedicated products tailored to disaster safety networks (military, police, fire departments), which support the international standard MCPTT (Mission Critical Push To Talk) and are compatible with PTT (Push-To-Talk) dedicated headsets. The company will also unveil plans to expand its K-defense product lineup. Since last year, Point Mobile has been expanding its presence in the defense industry by supplying the PM95, an advanced 5G wireless device specialized for disaster safety networks, to the Mexican police.
A company representative stated, "The mPOS and smart POS markets that Point Mobile is targeting are more than 15 times larger than the POS terminal and handheld rugged mobile computer markets. We expect that our aggressive marketing strategy will secure new growth engines and lead to meaningful improvements in business performance."
Point Mobile plans to drive innovation in retail operations and grow into a global leader in the relevant market by developing innovative technologies using advanced AI, integrating smart store technologies and data-driven solutions into its products.
The company representative added, "We believe that, in the challenging business environment both in Korea and worldwide, only close cooperation and strengthened trust with our global partners will drive the company's growth and increased sales. By participating in the Global Partner Conference, international exhibitions, and regional partner events, we are strengthening our promotional marketing for Point Mobile and its products, and this year we are aiming to surpass KRW 100 billion in annual sales for the first time since our founding."
