Park Jiwon, a lawmaker from the Democratic Party of Korea and the joint chairperson of Lee Jaemyung's "Neighborhood-by-Neighborhood Election Countermeasures Committee" for Gwangju and South Jeolla Province, visited Wando County in South Jeolla Province on May 15 to actively campaign for votes.

Despite the rainy and gloomy weather, Park visited the Wando 5-day Market, where he engaged directly with local residents and appealed for their support of candidate Lee Jaemyung. He stated, "When I see Lee Jaemyung, it feels as if President Kim Daejung has come back to life," emphasizing, "Lee Jaemyung is the second Kim Daejung."

He went on to say, "Just as President Kim Daejung overcame the IMF financial crisis in the past, in times like these when livelihood issues are severe, we need strong leadership capable of overcoming crises. The only person who can fulfill that role is Lee Jaemyung." He reiterated his appeal for support by saying, "When I see Lee Jaemyung, I see Kim Daejung, and when I see Kim Daejung, I see Lee Jaemyung."

After completing his campaign in Wando, Park is scheduled to join Lee Jaemyung's campaign events in other locations, including Gwangyang, Yeosu, and Suncheon.

Meanwhile, on the same day, candidate Lee Jaemyung is visiting Hwagae Market in Hadong County, South Gyeongsang Province?a symbol of harmony between Yeongho and Honam regions?before heading to the Dragons Football Stadium in Gwangyang, South Jeolla Province, to listen to local public opinion.

Afterward, he plans to hold a major campaign rally at Yi Sunshin Square in Yeosu, and then conclude the day's campaign activities at Fashion Street in Suncheon and Peace Square in Mokpo.
