Applications Open Until the 30th and 31st
Chungnam Province announced that it will implement the "Parental Education Support Program for People with Developmental Disabilities by Life Stage" to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and to raise awareness within the local community.
This program provides education tailored to each age group, including: ▲Infancy and early childhood (under 9 years old), ▲Transition to adulthood (ages 12-17), and ▲Adulthood (18 years and older). The education covers topics such as parenting, career counseling, and adult rights appropriate for each stage.
In particular, the "Parental Education for Infancy and Early Childhood" is operated by the Child and Family Support Center affiliated with Namseoul University, and participants are being recruited until the 31st.
The "Parental Education for Transition to Adulthood," which supports career exploration and independence for adolescents with developmental disabilities, is operated by the Chungnam Branch of the Korea Association of Parents with Disabilities. Applications for the "Special Admissions Information Session for People with Developmental Disabilities" are open until the 30th.
The "Adult Rights Parental Education," targeting people with developmental disabilities of all ages, is conducted by the Southern Chungnam Welfare Center for the Disabled.
