The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) held the "2025 Teacher's Day and Award Ceremony for Outstanding Private Kindergarten Management Teachers" at the International Conference Room of the Office of Education on May 14.

This award ceremony was held in celebration of the 44th Teacher's Day to foster a culture of respect for teachers and to boost teacher morale by recognizing those who have contributed to educational development.
On this day, Superintendent Kim Seokjun presented awards to 40 representatives out of a total of 345 recipients, including 152 recipients of the Minister's Award for Teacher's Day, 179 recipients of the Superintendent's Award, 2 recipients of the Mayor's Award, and 12 recipients of the Superintendent's Award for Outstanding Private Kindergarten Management.
Superintendent Kim Seokjun said, "I would like to once again express my gratitude for the noble dedication and passion of teachers who strive to discover students' potential and instill the right values," and added, "The role of teachers is more important than anything else for Busan education, where our children learn and grow together. Our office will actively support teachers so that they can devote themselves to activities for students with pride."
