Four Outstanding Productions, Including "Ddansori Pan," to Be Presented

Gangjin County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Kang Jinwon), announced on May 15 that approximately 400 tourists visited Gangjin Art Hall for the play "Dog Poop," which was selected through the 2025 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project.

This project, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Arts Management Service, is a public contest that provides full national funding for inviting performing arts groups. Gangjin Art Hall will receive support for a total of four productions this year.

"Dog Poop" is the first of the four productions and is recognized as an outstanding performance. Gangjin Art Hall and the theater troupe Mosineun Saramdeul offered a Dog Poop clay experience, a live photo booth with the actor reenacting the late author Kwon Jeongsaeng, and a life-size photo zone, creating opportunities for participating families to enjoy activities together outside of the performance time.

On June 14, Gangjin Art Hall will present "Cinderella's Sand Story," featuring a free sand art experience booth and a special event where the first 50 paid ticket holders will receive a Cinderella puzzle. On June 21, during the performance of "Ddansori Pan," a live photo zone themed after Amhaenggeosa will be set up, offering unique enjoyment for visitors.

Governor Kang Jinwon stated, "Gangjin County is continuously striving to provide cultural and artistic experiences that three generations can enjoy together, and we are delighted to present outstanding performances recognized both domestically and internationally. As these are performances rarely seen in the region, I hope even more residents will visit Gangjin Art Hall and join us."

Tickets for the two performances in June can be reserved through the Interpark Ticket website.
