CPC System, a company specializing in cable and robot-specific cable protection, announced on May 15 that it has received an additional order for long-distance cable chains from Korea Western Power.
This contract follows a previous order received from Korea Western Power in October last year, marking a consecutive agreement. It is seen as a reaffirmation of the company's technological capabilities and product reliability.
The cable chains to be supplied this time utilize a link connection method with holding pins, enabling smooth operation and minimizing friction. In addition, the use of PA material guide bars and rollers enhances durability, while the integrated design of the skid and sideband improves assembly efficiency.
According to the company, "CPC System's cable chains are essential for coal transportation systems and coal car rails at power plants, and demonstrate exceptional durability even in environments with heavy dust and vibration. By meeting stringent quality standards tailored for harsh industrial sites, we expect a high likelihood of additional orders from other power generation sites as well."
CPC System, the only company in Korea to localize all plastic cable protection products, is focusing on R&D investment. The company is actively targeting high value-added markets, including the commercialization of the ultra-low dust 'G Clean Chain' for cleanrooms, and is expanding its business scope into the industrial robot market through the development of 'Roboway,' a compact and lightweight robot cable protection solution.
The shipbuilding industry, which is CPC System's main sales channel, is entering a boom period due to increased demand for eco-friendly ships. Demand for cable protection systems is also expected to surge in the semiconductor and secondary battery industries as facility investments expand.
A CPC System representative stated, "The continued repeat orders from customers we have worked with before are a testament to the quality and technological excellence of our products. In addition to Western Power, our products have also been adopted by Hadong and Southern Power, so we expect steady growth in orders in the power generation equipment sector."
The representative added, "We will continue to strengthen our presence in the domestic and international power generation equipment markets through ongoing technological development and quality improvement, and enhance our global competitiveness by developing new products to meet newly emerging demands in various industrial sectors."
