Kiwoom Securities Holds "Asset UP for Young Adults! Video Contest" Award Ceremony

The "Asset UP for Young Adults! Video Contest" was launched by Kiwoom Securities this year with the aim of providing practical financial education and promoting content among the younger generation.

The contest theme was "How young adults can gain tangible benefits by utilizing financial products." Participants created and submitted videos ranging from 30 to 120 seconds in length.

Approximately 120 teams participated in this contest. Judging was based on four criteria: creativity, relevance to the theme, delivery, and completeness. Participants presented their own perspectives with humor and wit on how to utilize ISA, ELB, and Youth Tax-Deduction Funds for asset building.

The award ceremony was held on the 14th at Kiwoom Securities' headquarters (TP Tower) in Yeouido, Seoul. Park Minsu, who won the grand prize, said, "I have been benefiting from financial products for young adults through Kiwoom Securities, so it was meaningful to participate in this contest. Preparing for the contest allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of finance, making it a valuable experience."

The grand prize winner received a cash award of 5 million won and an internship opportunity at Kiwoom Securities. In addition, the contest recognized one team with the Excellence Award (3 million won), three teams with the Merit Award (1 million won each), and five teams with the Encouragement Award (500,000 won each). The winning entries will be released through Kiwoom Securities' official website, YouTube, and Instagram channels.

Kiwoom Securities has been at the forefront of developing and distributing financial products for young adults. The company has designated ISA (Individual Savings Account), ELB (Equity-Linked Bond), and Youth Tax-Deduction Fund as financial products for young adults, supporting the self-reliance and stable asset formation of the MZ generation.

Among these, the "ELB exclusively for young adults," launched in September last year, was selected earlier this year as an excellent case of "Win-Win and Cooperative Financial Innovation Products" by the Financial Supervisory Service for the first time among securities firms, thereby demonstrating its social value.

Kim Jeongbeom, Head of Customer Asset Solutions at Kiwoom Securities, said, "Through this contest, we hope that the younger generation will find it easier to access financial products and that it will help them build their assets. We will continue to expand financial content for young people in the future."
