100 Bags of Pesticide-Free White Rice Donated
Warmth Delivered to Elderly Veterans Living Alone
The Busan Regional Veterans Office (Director Namil Lee) held the 'Warm Rice Sharing' delivery ceremony at Busan Briquette Bank on May 13, together with Busan Briquette Bank (CEO Kang Jeongchil), to mark Family Month and support vulnerable veterans' families.

At the ceremony, Busan Briquette Bank donated 100 bags of 10kg pesticide-free white rice (worth approximately 5 million won), which will be delivered to 100 elderly veterans living alone.
Since May, Busan Briquette Bank has been running the 'ModuAe Veterans Brunch' event every Tuesday, providing nutritious meals with care, and continues to carry out various sharing activities for veterans' families in the region, including this Warm Rice Sharing initiative.
The Busan Regional Veterans Office stated, "We are grateful for the consistent support and warm-heartedness of Busan Briquette Bank," and added, "We will continue to work together with the local community to realize 'veterans support for all' and do our utmost to promote a vibrant veterans culture in everyday life."
