Accelerating the Introduction of AI in Investigative Settings
The Daegu Police Agency has launched training on utilizing artificial intelligence (AI)-based legal services to strengthen investigators' practical legal skills.
Daegu Police Agency conducted a special lecture on how to utilize AI-based legal services applied to investigative practices.
On May 13, the Daegu Police Agency conducted a special lecture on "How to Utilize AI-Based Legal Services Applied to Investigative Practices" in the main auditorium on the first floor of its headquarters, with around 150 investigators in attendance.
This special lecture was led by Lee Jin, CEO of LBOX, a leading domestic AI legal solution company, who served as the instructor and focused on real-world applications of AI technology in investigative settings.
CEO Lee demonstrated AI case analysis tools that enable rapid and accurate searches of vast case law databases, as well as methods for extracting similar cases based on case studies. He delivered practical, hands-on content that could be immediately applied to actual investigative work. Investigators showed great interest in the analytical power and speed offered by AI technology.
Lee Seunghyeop, Chief of the Daegu Police Agency, emphasized, "In a rapidly changing investigative environment, the adoption of advanced technologies such as AI is no longer a choice but a necessity. We will continue to actively introduce advanced technologies?including artificial intelligence and big data?into investigative settings to do our utmost to protect the safety of the public."
