In celebration of Family Month in May, the club donated items worth 1 million won, including snacks and food ingredients, to support the Children's Day family event organized by the Jeil Christian Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
Lee Jaesuk, president of the Hwanggeum Rotary Club, shared, "I am happy that we can help children in our community grow up to be healthy and happy members," and added, "I hope that the heartfelt contributions prepared together by our members will be a great source of strength for local children and families."
Lee Junghwa, director of the Jeil Christian Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, said, "I would like to thank the Hwanggeum Rotary Club in Daegu for providing support for children and families in the community despite the difficult economic situation. I expect that this donation will serve as a stepping stone for spreading positive influence throughout the local community."
