Expectations for Collaboration in the Biohealth Sector
On May 14, a delegation of public officials from Bagakhangai District in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia and one of Busan's sister cities, visited the Dong-Eui University campus to observe its advanced educational systems and facilities, and to discuss ways to promote international exchange.

The delegation included Altanhuyag Sokhbold, the head of Bagakhangai District, Pyaelidshir Munkhgerel, the chairperson of the Bagakhangai District Council, as well as council members, neighborhood leaders, and district officials, totaling 15 participants. They held a meeting with Lee Imgeon, Vice President for External Affairs at Dong-Eui University, Kim Chiyong, Director of the Office of External Cooperation, and Jung Kyungtae, Head of the Biohealth Innovation Convergence College Project Group.
During the meeting, both institutions agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare, and discussed specific plans for future exchanges, such as organizing training programs for principals and teachers from schools in Bagakhangai District.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Biohealth Innovation Convergence College to tour advanced equipment and training facilities in the healthcare field, including a virtual dissection practice system, a digital-based smart health management system, and a 3D full-body scanner.
Lee Imgeon, Vice President for External Affairs at Dong-Eui University, stated, "As Korea has become Mongolia's fourth-largest trading partner, exchanges in various fields such as trade and tourism have recently become more active. We will continue to seek ways to cooperate for mutual growth in the field of education as well."
The Bagakhangai District public official delegation visited Busan from the 11th to the 15th to observe advanced systems in the fields of healthcare, education, administration, and agriculture. In addition to Dong-Eui University, they toured key institutions and tourist attractions related to their fields of cooperation, such as the Gijang County Office, the Southeast Nuclear Medical Center, and the aquarium.
