Honam University’s Non-Curricular Integrated Support Center announced on May 14 that it operated a basic skin scuba diving course in two sessions over two days, on the 8th and 9th, in collaboration with Nambu University and Songwon University.

The training, held at the Nambu University Municipal International Swimming Pool, was part of a non-curricular exchange program with other universities. Seven students from Honam University, six from Nambu University, and seven from Songwon University participated in the basic skin scuba diving course, which included both theoretical instruction and practical pool training. Upon completing both sessions, participants received a certificate of completion and were offered opportunities for further support in connecting to certification courses.

Honam University’s Non-Curricular Integrated Support Center conducts non-curricular exchange programs with other universities (Nambu University, Songwon University, and Honam University) every semester. These programs aim to generate synergy through inter-university exchange and cooperation in the region, and to promote mutual communication among students.
