"A Turning Point for Integrity Administration
with Direct Responsibility and Action"
Sinan County, South Jeolla Province, announced on May 14 that it held a meeting of the Integrity Council on May 13, presided over by Deputy County Governor Kim Daein (acting Sinan County Governor), to enhance integrity within the public sector.
The meeting was attended by more than 50 senior officials at the department head level or higher. Participants shared the "2025 Sinan County Anti-Corruption and Integrity Promotion Plan" and addressed key tasks such as: incorporating the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's recommendations for institutional improvement; inspecting the operation status of the autonomous internal control system; and developing measures to ensure the effectiveness of integrity education.
Deputy County Governor Kim Daein stated, "The Integrity Council will serve as a turning point for integrity administration, with senior officials taking direct responsibility and action," and emphasized, "Please pursue integrity policies that are action-oriented and encompass both institutional frameworks and on-site realities."
The county plans to analyze areas vulnerable to corruption through internal and external surveys next month and, through the Integrity Council, develop concrete improvement measures to be reflected in administrative services.
