On May 14, the Busan Port Authority (BPA) held a 'Former CEOs Invitational Meeting,' inviting former presidents of the organization.

This meeting, held for the first time since the authority's establishment, was organized to seek sustainable growth strategies and to review the authority's mid- to long-term direction amid rapidly changing external circumstances.

During the meeting, participants exchanged a wide range of opinions on key issues such as improving the operational efficiency of Busan Port, introducing eco-friendly energy, and pursuing overseas projects. They also discussed improvements to the strategic framework and measures to stabilize the financial structure. Former CEOs shared their experiences and advice to strengthen the global competitiveness of Busan Port.

Song Sanggeun, President of BPA, stated, "The deep insights of my predecessors will empower our future strategies," adding, "I will devote all efforts to the management and operation of Busan Port so that it can lead ports around the world."
