Park Chandae: "All Supreme Court Justices Refuse to Attend Hearing... Parliamentary Investigation and Special Prosecutor Inevitable"

Park Chandae, Standing Chief Election Committee Chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, warned on May 14, "Today, Supreme Court Chief Justice Cho Hui-dae and all Supreme Court justices are reportedly refusing to attend the hearing. If they do not respond to the demands of the people, a parliamentary investigation or a special prosecutor will be inevitable."

At the election committee meeting held at the party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, Park stated, "Chief Justice Cho must immediately respond to the demands for an apology and resignation over the judicial coup. Do not test the patience of the people any further."

Park emphasized, "The Democratic Party will do everything in its power to restore judicial justice, which has been undermined by the judicial rebellion. We will hold those responsible to account through the responsibilities and powers vested in the National Assembly."

Park also stated, "Not only is Yoon Suk-yeol, the ringleader of the rebellion, walking the streets freely, but he is once again inciting rebellion. The Jigwiyeon court must resolve this situation by immediately re-detaining Yoon Suk-yeol."
