Admission 10,000 Won... Reservations Open from the 15th
Gochang County, North Jeolla Province, announced on May 14 that the popular Daehangno play "Ramen" will be performed at the Gochang Culture and Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on May 22.
"Ramen" tells the story of love between a man and a woman by drawing a parallel to ramen, considered the soul food of Koreans. The play is mainly set in the 1990s and 2000s, and has been praised for evoking the emotions, memories, and nostalgia of that era.
With a story that delivers both great laughter and deep emotion in everyday life, the play is loved by audiences of all ages. Since its debut in 2015 received an enthusiastic response, "Ramen" has been performed as an open run since 2020 and has established itself as a representative play of Daehangno.
This season marks the fifth anniversary of its open run. In Season 11, video footage will be used during the performance to enhance the audience's enjoyment. The use of video will allow for a more direct and vivid expression of the stage, showcasing dynamic stage art.
Tickets are priced at 10,000 won, with a special discount for Gochang County residents at 3,000 won (1,500 won for students). Ticket reservations open at 9 a.m. on May 15.
