GS Engineering & Construction announced on May 13 that it held a super high-rise construction technology seminar and signed a "Super High-Rise Technology Cooperation Partnership" with global engineering company Arup.
The seminar, held on April 30, featured presentations and discussions on Arup's case studies and technologies, as well as lectures on core technologies that can be practically applied.
Through this partnership, GS Engineering & Construction plans to strengthen its differentiated design capabilities for super high-rise residential facilities and secure key technologies.
Arup is a global engineering company that has designed landmark super high-rise buildings around the world. GS Engineering & Construction is planning to introduce super high-rise residential facilities in the Samik Beach and Hangang Mansion reconstruction projects, for which it has secured construction rights.
GS Engineering & Construction and Arup will establish a system for technology exchange and joint research. Arup will also participate in the alternative design for Seongsu Strategic District 1, applying its super high-rise design and technology expertise.
