Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jung Myungseop) held a "Warmth Sharing for a Caring Neighborhood" event on May 13, in celebration of Family Month in May. The event targeted residents aged 80 and above who live alone in Beommul Yongji Apartments, which are directly managed by the corporation. The love-sharing event was organized to provide various forms of support for the health and safety of elderly residents living alone.
This event was designed to protect socially isolated elderly individuals living alone and to foster a warm residential environment where neighbors can share kindness together, in honor of Family Month. The main activities included the creation and distribution of "Warmth Sharing Kits" (kits containing 10 types of food items), collaboration with the Skilled Workers Association to offer hairdressing, medical repairs, replacement of old window screens, and electrical inspections (the "Visiting Meister's Touch" service), a music concert for seniors ("Opening Hearts with Music"), a "Senior Health Checkup Program" in cooperation with the public health center (including dementia screening, alcohol reduction, and cardiovascular health promotion), as well as ongoing health and safety monitoring.

On the day of the event, President Jung Myungseop and about 10 employees, together with volunteers, shared warmth and kindness with permanent rental residents of Beommul Yongji, embodying a society where people live together in harmony. The corporation carries out a variety of resident support activities tailored to the characteristics of each resident group every year and is committed to enhancing residential welfare projects that residents can truly experience.
Jung Myungseop, President of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, stated, "In celebration of Family Month, it was a very meaningful occasion as this event was able to provide practical help to the elderly. As the number of elderly people living alone is rapidly increasing, we will continue to make efforts to support residents' healthy lives and fulfill our social responsibility by providing ongoing, customized support activities for each group of seniors."
