Harim Reports 6.9 Billion KRW Operating Profit in Q1, Down 32.9% Year-on-Year

Losses Increase in the Meat Processing Segment, Including Nuggets

Harim announced on the 13th that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter of this year was 6.94787 billion KRW, a decrease of 32.9% compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, sales increased by 5.5% to 322.47851 billion KRW. Net profit for the period turned positive, reaching 2.85662 billion KRW.

In the broiler segment, sales amounted to 226.9 billion KRW and operating profit was 12.3 billion KRW. In the meat processing segment, sales were 61 billion KRW with an operating loss of 5.7 billion KRW. The other segment recorded sales of 34.5 billion KRW and operating profit of 200 million KRW.
