Organized into Three Groups Including the General Group, Official Activities Begin

Chungcheong Metropolitan Alliance Holds Kickoff Meeting for New Project Discovery TF Team The kickoff meeting for the TF team discovering new and old projects of the Chungcheong Metropolitan Alliance was held on the 13th.

The Chungcheong Metropolitan Alliance announced on the afternoon of the 13th that it held the kickoff meeting for the "New Project Discovery TF Team" and officially began the process of identifying and planning new projects.

This meeting was held as a preparatory step to quickly establish the functions of the Chungcheong Metropolitan Alliance as the nation's first special local government, and to systematically discover and materialize new cooperative projects suitable for the Chungcheong region, with the TF team at its core.

The project discovery TF team is composed of 17 members, with the secretary-general serving as the team leader and each department head acting as a sub-leader. The team is organized into three groups: the General Group, Project Discovery Group 1 (Industry, Economy, Culture), and Project Discovery Group 2 (Roads, Agriculture, Environment). During the kickoff meeting, the team shared the operational direction and future schedule, and discussed ways to identify tasks based on interdepartmental collaboration.

The TF team plans to simultaneously advance the materialization of existing cooperative projects and the discovery of new projects through regular monthly meetings chaired by the team leader and ad hoc meetings led by the head of the General Group.

Lee Suhyeon, Secretary-General of the Chungcheong Metropolitan Alliance, stated, "Through the formation of this TF team, we plan to strengthen interdepartmental connections and identify and materialize the unique functions of the alliance, focusing on securing government funding and developing logic for institutional improvements." He added, "By pursuing planning research in the future, we will actively identify large-scale cooperative projects tailored to the realities of the Chungcheong region."

Meanwhile, the Chungcheong Metropolitan Alliance plans to issue a request for proposals for the "(tentative name) New Project Discovery Planning Research" in June and establish a systematic business development logic in collaboration with external professional organizations.
