Pocheon City to Officially Launch Metropolitan Bus Route 3003 on June 1
Six Buses, 30 Round Trips Daily
Significantly Improved Commuting Convenience for Residents

Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyeon) announced on May 13 that it will officially launch the new metropolitan bus route 3003 (Kyungbok University~Byeollae Station) starting June 1.

This newly established route is expected to significantly improve commuting convenience for Pocheon residents.

The 3003 route will operate six vehicles, making 30 round trips per day, and is expected to help alleviate congestion on the existing 3006 route.

In particular, this route will connect Kyungbok University to the Byeollae Station Transfer Center. Byeollae Station is linked to Seoul Subway Line 8, which is anticipated to greatly reduce existing commute times.

The opening of this metropolitan bus route is expected to serve as an important milestone in further strengthening Pocheon City's metropolitan transportation network.

Furthermore, once the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Express Railway (GTX-B) line passes through Byeollae Station in the future, connections to major areas in the Seoul metropolitan region, such as Seoul Station and Incheon, will be enhanced. This will further expand Byeollae Station's role as a key transfer hub and is expected to significantly contribute to meeting the commuting needs of Pocheon residents.

Pocheon City plans to accelerate the expansion of its transportation infrastructure in line with urban growth and population increase, starting with the introduction of the 3003 route. As a key hub city connecting the northeastern and southern parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, Pocheon City is committed to expanding public transportation services to improve residents' quality of life.
