Discounts on 5 Major Grocery Items and 50 Daily Necessities
Popular Products Offered at Special Prices Until May 29
Emart announced on May 14 that it will hold its May "Price Slash Declaration" event, offering ultra-low prices on five major grocery items and 50 popular processed and daily necessities until May 29.
The Price Slash Declaration is a shopping basket price stabilization project in which Emart plans and offers essential food and daily necessities at ultra-low prices. For this month’s discounted items, the five major grocery products are lettuce, abalone, kimchi, pizza, and milk. During the event, a pack of "Jeoksangchu/Asaki Lettuce/Half-and-half Lettuce (domestic, 200g each)" will be sold at 990 won, which is a 50% discount off the regular price.
Domestic live abalone in medium, large, extra-large, and jumbo sizes will be sold at 2,988 won, 3,288 won, 3,588 won, and 4,080 won per 100g, respectively. This is about 40% cheaper than the regular price. The "jumbo" size, which accounts for only about 2% of the total supply and is considered rare, is also included as a Price Slash Declaration item.
Additionally, "CJ Bibigo Pogibaechu Kimchi (900g)" and "Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Quattro/Mozzarella (340g/355g each)" will be sold at 9,980 won and 4,980 won, respectively, which is about 40% off the regular price. "Maeil Daily Milk (900ml x 2 packs)", produced in collaboration with Maeil Dairy, will be available for 3,880 won. Maeil Daily Milk features a whale character design to commemorate the launch of Emart’s major event, "Goraeit Festa."
For daily necessities, popular processed foods such as Gangneung Chodang Tofu (550g, 1,980 won), Sajo Chunk Tuna (85g x 4 packs, 6,780 won), Paldo Bibimmyun (130g x 4 packs, 2,980 won), Kellogg’s Corn Frost (600g, 4,980 won), CJ Bibigo Fried Dumplings (450g x 2 packs, 9,480 won), Coca-Cola Zero (1.8L, 2,380 won), and Orion Choco Pie (702g, 18 packs, 5,980 won) have been selected for discounts.
Other daily goods available at low prices include Kerasys Shampoo/Rinse 1,000ml (Moisture/Damage Care, 4,900 won each), Codi Kitchen Towel (150 sheets x 6 rolls, 6,900 won), Perio Medical Herb Toothpaste (100g x 3 packs, Mint, 5,400 won), and Ryo Uache Gray Hair Cream (Natural Brown 5N, 5,250 won).
