The Chungnam Office of Education announced on the afternoon of the 13th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for digital education exchange and cooperation with the Mongolian General Education Authority in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Since 2005, the Chungnam Office of Education has carried out education informatization projects with Laos, its partner country, marking its 20th year of collaboration in 2025.

Starting last year, the office began digital education exchanges with Uzbekistan, and this year, it has expanded cooperation to Mongolia, thereby establishing a digital education cooperation system with a total of three countries.

The signing of this MOU for digital education exchange and cooperation with the Mongolian General Education Authority was reportedly carried out at the request of the Mongolian side, which wished to share Chungnam’s outstanding digital education activities.

The Chungnam Office of Education plans to support the informatization infrastructure of Mongolian education, operate training programs for Mongolian teachers, and establish a continuous exchange and cooperation system for the advancement of digital education.

Kim Ji-cheol, Superintendent of the Chungnam Office of Education, said, "The signing of this memorandum of understanding (MOU) is a meaningful milestone in sharing Chungnam’s digital education capabilities with the world," adding, "Through Chungnam’s future-oriented education, we will contribute to bridging the global digital education gap and build a future education model that represents Chungnam on the global stage."
