Rolls-Royce Unveils High-Performance Electric Car "Black Badge Spectre" Priced at 719 Million KRW in Korea

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (Rolls-Royce) has unveiled the "Black Badge Spectre," the high-performance version of its first-ever electric vehicle, the Spectre, in South Korea.

Immediately after its launch, the Spectre became the second best-selling model in the entire Rolls-Royce lineup. In South Korea, the enhanced-performance Black Badge trim is being introduced for the first time.

According to Rolls-Royce on May 13, the Black Badge Spectre features newly added Infinity Mode and Spirited Mode, delivering a maximum output of 659 horsepower (PS) and a peak torque of 109.6 kg·m. Notably, the car accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

The steering weight has been increased and roll stabilization functions have been adjusted to enhance cornering stability. Improved damper performance boosts body control, minimizing front-to-rear pitching during acceleration and deceleration. The company explained that these features allow the vehicle to maintain the signature "Magic Carpet Ride" comfort unique to Rolls-Royce.

Coinciding with the unveiling of the Black Badge Spectre, Rolls-Royce also introduced a new exterior color, Vapor Violet, for the first time. The front of the vehicle features an illuminated grille backplate that highlights the iconic Illuminated Pantheon Grille. Inside, customers can choose from five themed operating systems: Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet, and Synth Wave.

Deliveries of the Black Badge Spectre to South Korean customers will begin sequentially starting in the third quarter of this year. The starting price is 719 million KRW.
