On May 13, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced that it has expanded and reopened the Ansan Foreign Financial Center, located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, where the largest number of foreign nationals reside in Korea, in order to strengthen its customized financial services for foreign customers.

The Ansan Foreign Financial Center, which first opened in May 2008 as a dedicated branch for foreign customers, operates not only on weekdays but also on Sundays. Staff members fluent in six languages provide tailored financial services, including explanations of major products, account opening, and assistance with installing the i-One Bank Global app.

Through this expansion, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea has established a system that supports real-time interpretation and translation services in a total of 38 languages, enabling foreign customers to use the bank as conveniently as they would their own country's banks. The bank expects that this will greatly alleviate the inconvenience experienced by foreign customers who have faced difficulties accessing financial services due to language barriers.

A representative from IBK Industrial Bank of Korea stated, "We will continue to expand inclusive financial services that overcome language and cultural barriers, so that foreign customers can plan for a better life in Korea through financial services."
